Short version: we run a text website, we do not have accounts or logins, and we collect close to nothing about you. The detail below explains exactly what that means.

What gets collected
Our web host records standard server log data when a page is requested, including an IP address, browser type and the page requested. That data supports security and basic traffic measurement, and it rotates out on a short cycle. Where analytics are used, the results are aggregated and not linked back to you as an individual.
If you email us, we hold that message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with what you raised.
Cookies
Reading articles on this site does not require cookies. If analytics or an embedded third-party element is present on a page, that service may set its own. Your browser settings let you block or clear cookies at any time, and doing so will not stop the site working.
Links to other sites
Some pages link out, including to sports betting operators. The moment you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's site, governed by their privacy policy rather than this one. We have no visibility into or control over what they collect. Read their terms before handing over personal or payment details.

Requests go through the contact page. Because we hold so little, most requests are resolved quickly, and we respond inside the period the applicable law allows.
Children
The site is written for a general adult audience and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from them. Pages that mention betting carry the age restrictions set out on our responsible gambling page.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, which is the main reason we keep data collection to a minimum instead of gathering information we might one day have to protect.
Revisions
This page changes when our practices change, and the revision date at the top reflects the last update. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept it.
